Corrections Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

PawPulse is committed to accurate, up-to-date information. When we get something wrong, we fix it — visibly and quickly.

Report a correction

Email corrections@pawpulsedog.com with:

  • The article URL.
  • The specific sentence or claim you believe is wrong.
  • A source that supports the correct information (if you have one).

Our response time

  • Safety- or health-critical errors (wrong dosage, toxic ingredient, unsafe advice): reviewed and corrected within 24 hours.
  • Factual errors (wrong date, misattributed quote, incorrect statistic): reviewed and corrected within 3 business days.
  • Typos and minor clarifications: corrected on the next editorial pass.

How corrections are marked

  • Substantive corrections (a fact was materially wrong): the corrected sentence is updated, and a "Correction:" note is added at the bottom of the article describing what changed and when.
  • Clarifications (the original was not wrong but was easy to misread): the sentence is rewritten and an "Editor's note:" is added.
  • Updates (new information, changed guidance, new study): incorporated into the article body and reflected in the visible Last Updated date.
  • Retractions: on the rare occasion an article is retracted, the original URL stays live with a clear retraction notice explaining why.

What we don't do

  • We don't quietly edit history. Substantive changes are always disclosed on the article.
  • We don't remove articles simply because a subject or brand dislikes them.
  • We don't accept payment to alter, unpublish, or de-index content.

Escalation

If your correction request is not resolved to your satisfaction, escalate to editorial@pawpulsedog.com and a senior editor will respond.
